According to Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the government’s negotiation team has been meeting with representatives of the micro-blogging site and most of the issues raised by the Federal Government have been resolved.

The Minister also disclosed that the issue of the platform setting up an office and having a management staff in the country was still been discussed. He said the platform has agreed to the condition but it however maintained that the earliest it can establish it is 2022.

Lai Mohammed Reveals 2 Conditions Twitter Must Meet Before They Resume Their Operations In Nigeria:

1. The company must established a legal presence in Nigeria before they could be allowed to resumed their operations.
2. the Federal Government demanded that Twitter must register as a Nigerian company with an address.
