Nigel is a Policy Analyst and CyberSecure Canada Advisory based in Calgary. Nigel works with small businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs to help them navigate federal programming on cybersecurity and digital adoption to ensure their needs are best met by the Government of Canada.
Before supporting small businesses in the prairies, Nigel worked for the Public Health Agency of Canada as an Analyst and for the Conference Board of Canada as a Research Associate. CyberSecure Canada is a lite-touch cyber security audit designed specifically for SMEs and start-ups who want to ensure they are cyber protected. Businesses must show they are compliant in 13 areas of core cyber security to obtain the Cybersecure Canada Certification and, once certified, can strategically leverage the certification within their supply networks and value chains.
