In 2022-2023 academic year, over 100 scholarships will be granted between full and partial offers. Scholarships will be awarded by the International Admissions Committee on the basis of students’ applications. For truly excellent candidates, the committee may offer – in addition to a full-tuition scholarship – free room and/or board in Luiss residences and cafeterias.
Progetto Mediterraneo aims to educate refugees and students in need from various Mediterranean countries, by giving them access to English-language Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs at Luiss University. Upon completion of the courses, students possess the knowledge and specific skills needed to continue their studies and/or pursue managerial positions that contribute to the economic and social development of the region and their communities.
Students with excellent applications who have received an IB Diploma in the 2021-2022 academic year, may be offered a total or partial tuition scholarship. There is no need to apply for the scholarship, all applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship.
Students admitted with these certifications may apply for one of four partial scholarships offered by the University. The call for application will be published in February 2022.
Students with a GMAT score greater than 710 or an equivalent GRE may apply for one of eight total tuition exemptions. Any remaining funds will be awarded to students with a GMAT lower than 710. The call for application will be published in February 2022.
The scholarship was launched in 2019-2020 thanks to donations from Luiss Alumni. In collaboration with the UNHCR, the Luiss Alumni Association awarded the first scholarship to an Eritrean refugee in Ethiopia to attend the Master’s Program in Corporate Finance. The initial success, underlining the humanitarian spirit of the University’s leadership to influence future social, political and economic development at the global level, allowed the Association to continue this special project and to fund one full scholarship per year, including room, board, books and a small monthly allowance
