Key Account Manager, Advertising

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing.
  • Proven experience in key account management – Agency experience required.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Salesforce software.
  • The ability to build rapport with key clients.
  • The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Compliance Analyst – Jumia

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business management, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field from a recognized and accredited university.
  • A Masters’ in any relevant field is an added advantage.
  • Professional English level required. Chinese, French and/or Arabic is a plus.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role and industry, in internal control, compliance, operations, logistic, commercial or finance.
  • Adequate knowledge of the online marketplace model and ecommerce environment
  • Understanding of KYC due diligence and Anti-Money Laundering checks for new and existing customers is a plus.
  • Professional knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a Customer Services environment is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely rigorous and details oriented, you love to deep dive in complex cases.
  • Autonomous, you are able to manage multiple deadlines with limited and remote management.
  • Curious, you love learning new things and using new tools. You are able to learn by yourself.
  • Bullet-proof professional ethic.

Other Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have strong leadership, organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines on schedule.
  • English professional required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and Google Docs.

Customer Experience and Retention Manager – Jumia

Qualification and Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant e-commerce / telecom or comparable experience in the customer experience and retention field.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven team environment.
  • Experience with e-commerce/telecomm platforms/channels preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and can be trusted to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Reconciliation Operations Associate –

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc in Operations / Logistics & Supply Chain or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent use of excel would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is an advantage.

Reconciliation Operations Associate – Jumia

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc in Operations / Logistics & Supply Chain or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent use of excel would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is an advantage.

Reverse Operations Associate

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc Operations / Logistics & Supply Chain or other related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent use of excel would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is an advantage.

Vendor Promise Analyst

Qualification & Experience

  • B.Sc degree.
  • Good knowledge of Jumia processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment preferably in a similar role but not essential.
  • Excellent Numerical, Analytical and Communication Skills.
  • Knowledgeable in either Salesforce and excellent use of excel would be an advantage.
  • The capacity to develop and document procedures and workflows.

Strategic Jumia Partner – FMCG (Jumia)

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognised and accredited University
  • 8+ years’ experience in managing key accounts in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.
  • Build’s and Presents Joint Business Plans and aligns on a refined version with accounts being managed.
  • Understands implications of performance analysis and performance steering levers (e.g., low CR% leads to either better content or better price)
  • Has strong clarity on the value proposition of Marketing Value Added services
  • Exceptional negotiation. listening and communication skills required. Manages tri-partite conversations between Jumia, brands and their distributors.
  • Advanced Excel. Knowledge of other tools i.e. PBI etc is an advantage
  • Exceptional team working skills and people management.
  • Has already a good network / portfolio of sellers relevant to the category to onboard on Jumia – Added advantage
  • Exceptional analytical skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in top tier consulting firms, 2+ years experience in top tier e-commerce firms, 2+ years in top tier investment banks or audit firms
  • Top tier engineering universities

Head of Agency and Pick-Up Stations – Jumia

Qualification & Experience

  • An ideal candidate would possess significant (3-5 years) experience in company creation or offline retail industry and a proven track record of impact
  • Track record of building offline networks or distribution channels.
  • Top Business / Engineering Schools and Universities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Head of 3PL

Qualification and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the area of Logistics
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University (MBA/MSc is a plus).

  • Should have  experience in SCM in online or offline retail formats / FMCG companies.
  • Should have experience in vendor management and have handled teams.

3PL Regional Manager

Qualification and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the area of Logistics
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University (MBA/MSc is a plus).
  • Customer Service/Account Management
  • Should have  experience in SCM in online or offline retail formats / FMCG companies.
  • Should have experience in vendor management and have handled teams.
