ASUU to go on one-month warning strike After serious deliberations that dragged into the early hours of Monday, the National Executive Council, NEC, of the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, has voted to embark on one-month warning industrial action to press home its demands from the government.
The strike is to allow the Federal Government do the needful failure to which the union would go on an indefinite industrial action. ASUU Strik To Be a Total Indefinite, Suffocating And Comprehensive Strike – Emmanuel Osodeke
Speaking with an ASUU member at the meeting, says, the association has made its decision and will make it known publicly by the NEC Chairman, also added that the strike action stands at the moment, all ASUU Varsities branch and Chapter support the industrial action by vote.
