YOUTH MONTH COMPETITION 2023: EMPOWERING SOUTH AFRICAN TALENT

In advance of the annual June 16 celebration of Youth Month in 2023, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is holding a competition for South African youth to win prizes.

The June 16 Soweto and other associated uprisings will commemorate their 47th anniversary in 2023. With hundreds of young people cruelly murdered, the Soweto uprising regrettably came to an end. This tragedy served as a catalyst for a national and populace uprising against the harsh apartheid regime.

After democracy was established in 1994, the new democratic administration proclaimed June 16 as National Youth Day and June as Youth Month. “Accelerating youth economic emancipation for a sustainable future” will be the topic of this year’s National Youth Day and Youth Month celebrations.

 

SOUTH AFRICA YOUTH MONTH COMPETITION 2023 APPLICATION GUIDELINES

The competition is open to all South African youth between the ages of 15 and 25. It aims to provide an inclusive platform for young individuals to express their potential, regardless of their background, gender, or ethnicity. Colgate-Palmolive South Africa Graduate Trainee Programme

NYDA is calling on South Africans youths to Enter the Youth Month 2023 competition and stand a chance to win prizes by simply answering the three (3) questions below:
