THE NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE RECRUITMENT (NIS) 2023.

The Nigeria Immigration Service currently has openings in the following positions, and the Immigration Services Board is accepting applications from suitable applicants for full-time appointments starting in 2023.

OVERVIEW

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFB) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for fulltime appointment to fill existing vacancies in the following positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service.

POSITIONS:

CATEGORY A: SUPERINTENDENT CADRE

a. Superintendent of Immigration (SI) CONPASS 11 Professional (Doctors) Applicants must possess minimum of first Degree (MBBS) from a recognized Institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate

B. Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 Professional (Pharmacists)
Applicants must possess minimum of tirst Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate

c. Assistant Superintendent of Immigration I1 (ASI I1) CONPASS 08 Applicants must be holders of a Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

CATEGORY B: INSPECTORATE CADRE

a. Assistant Inspector of Immigration (All), General Duty,cONPASS 06: Applicants must be holders of National Diploma (ND), NCE or Advanced NABTEB obtained from recognized Institutions.

CATEGORY C: ASSISTANT CADRE

a. iImmigration Assistant II (IA 1) CONPASS 03 General Duty:  Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NEC0, GCE
or Its equivalent witha minimum of Four (4) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English and Mathematics.

b. Immigration Assistant III (LA III CONPASS 03

• Artisans
• Motor drivers
• Mechanic

Applicants must be holders of Ordinary Level SSCE, or its equivalents and appropriate Trade Test Certificate.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Online applications must be made. As of Monday, January , 2023, applicants are expected to use the website https://cdctib.career to fill out and submit their application.

It is recommended that candidates print out the referee forms, which must be properly filled out and submitted during the document verification.

Candidates should be aware that submitting more than one application will result in instant disqualification.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Applications must be submitted online within Two (2) weeks from the date of publication.

STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR RECRUITMENT

I  Applicants must be Nigerians by birth;
ii. Have National identity Number:
iii. Applicants must be holders of the requisite qualifications and certificates
iv. Applicants must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from
Government recognized hospitals:
V. Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted Of any criminal offences:
vi. Be required to pass drug test;
vii. Applicants must not be financially embarrassed;
viii. Applicants must be between ages of 18 and 30 years with exception to Doctors and Pharmacists who must not be more than 35 Years;
ix. Applicants’ height must not be less than 1.65m for male and 1.60orn for female:
x.Applicants chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men:
xi. Computer literacy will be of added advantage:
xii. Any certificate or qualification not declared and accepted during documentation, shall not be accepted after the recruitment.

COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)

There shall be computer-based test for shortlisted candidates. Appropriate time and date shall be communicated to such persons.

CLOSING DATE

After the time of this publication, all Applications must be finished and presented within two (2) weeks.

NOTE THAT THIS Registration IS COMPLETELY FREE TO APPLICANTS.

Applications submitted after this deadline or in violation of the procedures won’t be considered.

How much is the immigration pay in Nigeria?

Immigration Salary Structure in Nigeria 2023. The Comptroller General is the immigration service’s seniormost officer. The annual salary for the Comptroller General is up to N3 million. As opposed to this, passport officials’ starting pay can be as little as 30,000 Naira per month.
