Project GEST Update: Interview/Proficiency for the shortlisted Girls Entrepreneurship and Skills Training

Project GEST Update: The Delta State Ministry of Girl Child Entrepreneurship and Development is pleased to announce the commencement of the interview phase for the shortlisted Project GEST 2022 applicants.

Interview/Proficiency for the shortlisted
Girls Entrepreneurship and Skills Training (GEST)
2022 applicants. The exercise will begin tomorrow, 31st October 2022 and ends on 11th November 2022.

Recall that the Applications are open to girls between the ages of 18 and 30 years. Participants will be selected on the basis of their previous experience in their preferred skill area, and the perceived benefit of the training on their livelihood. Girls above 30 years of age and those who have previously been trained and empowered by the State Government through other entrepreneurship programmes are not eligible to apply

Shortlisted applicants are currently being contacted and provided with the necessary details and requirements regarding their interview dates and locations.

Project GEST Update: Successful Applicants are to bring the following:

1.) Voter’s card or any other valid means of identification available (i.e Drivers’ License, International Passport or National Identity Card)

2.) Original copies of: -Birth Certificate

3.) LGA of Origin Certificate

4..) Certificates of their Educational Qualification (Primary School Certificate is an important requirement)
