The minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouk said more than enough time was given before Npower Nexit Portal Closure. more than enough time were given to interested disengaged volunteers to show interest since November 2020 more than six months grace period, but not all volunteers succeeded due to email, phone number and other login issues, the minister said.

According to Sadiya, the Npower batch C Applicants are undergoing verification to enable the Ministry to deploy additional 1million volunteers after batch A and B were disengaged last year.
The Nexit Programme is a new Empowerment option initiated by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in partnership with the CBN for the Exited Npower Volunteers as an exit package.
