NPC Salary Structure for The 2023 Ad Hoc Workers

THE Nigeria National Population Commission (NPC) Salary structure for the 2023 Ad hoc Workers. It is important to note that working as an ad hoc staff for the NPC during the census exercise is usually considered a temporary job, and the salary or allowances provided may not necessarily be equivalent to that of a full-time employee.

However, it can provide an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience and contribute to national development efforts.

ABOUT THE NIGERIA NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION (NPC)

The National Population Commission (NPC) in Nigeria conducts a census every 10 years to gather demographic data about the country’s population. The census is important for planning and development purposes, as it provides information about population size, age distribution, gender balance, literacy levels, and other key indicators.

WHAT’S THE AD HOC STAFF RESPONSIBILITY

To carry out the census, the NPC recruits ad hoc staff who assist in the data collection process. Ad hoc staff are usually recruited from local communities and trained to administer questionnaires, collect data, and ensure the accuracy of the information gathered.

The NPC typically announces recruitment opportunities for ad hoc staff prior to the census exercise, and interested individuals can apply through the commission’s website or other designated channels. Ad hoc staff positions are typically temporary and may last for several weeks or months, depending on the scope and duration of the census exercise.

Working as an ad hoc staff for the NPC during the census exercise can provide opportunities for individuals to gain valuable experience in data collection, analysis, and management. It can also be a way to contribute to national development efforts and support the government’s efforts to plan and allocate resources for various social and economic programs.

THE NIGERIA NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION (NPC) SALARY STRUCTURE FOR THE 2023 AD HOC WORKERS

In previous census exercises, the NPC has provided ad hoc staff with allowances and stipends to cover their transportation, feeding, and accommodation expenses during the census exercise. The allowances and stipends vary depending on the location and duration of the census exercise, as well as the specific duties assigned to the ad hoc staff.

The updated pay schedule for the hired ad hoc workers who will be conducting the 2023 Population and Housing Census throughout the federation has been made public by the National Population Commission (NPC).
