NITDA Cohort 2 Scholarship.The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with Cousera, thus offers an opportunity to build capacity that can give you skills for digital jobs as part of the Federal Government’s aim to create 1 million jobs in the digital economy.

The application period opens on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, and ends on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. On Monday, June 19, 2023, Cohort 2 training will begin. It will last for six months. Don’t pass up this chance to gain skills that will open doors to international employment.

Applicants are to select one certification program each from Category A and Category B that they wish to be enrolled in.

Category A (IT Career Pathway) offers a total of 19 professional certification programs to help you kickstart a successful IT career. Each program comprises a series of related courses focused on providing deep knowledge and hands-on skills required for employment. When you complete each individual course within the program, you’ll earn a certificate of completion. However, the professional certification will be earned when you have completed all the required courses in the program.

Category B (Complementary Skills Pathway) offers 4 certification programs for you to choose from to complement your IT career skills and sharpen your use of digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, or freelancing skills.

You may click on the attached program links below to read about the professional certifications before making your choice. Successful applicants will receive a Coursera license in their provided email in the form of a joining link. Each scholar will have access to the Coursera license for a period of six (6) months. Scholars are expected to use this time to complete as many professional certifications as possible, but they can only be enrolled in one certification at a time.
