National Social Housing programme (NSHP) The federal government at the weekend announced the take-off of N200 billion social housing initiative to build 300,000 affordable housing units for it’s citizens under The National Social Housing programme (NSHP) which is set to deliver 300,000 affordable homes for individuals and groups in all states of the federation including the FCT.

The scheme which is being funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), with 20 of the 36 states of the federation already indicating interest to participate in the housing scheme will begin this week.
Individuals will be able to register and apply for free through a transparent selection process where the most suitably qualified applicants will be selected based on predetermined criteria with no COLLATERAL and LOW-INTEREST.
You can become a LANDLORD through the National Social Housing Programme (NSHS), a component of the National Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP) by FG.
Qualified homeowners will make contributions towards their homes while awaiting delivery. Who is eligible/qualified to own a home on the NSHP?
To Be Eligible To Own A Home, You Must Fulfil The Following Criteria:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be over 18 years of age
- Have a valid national identity card.
- You must then complete your profile by submitting your personal details, housing preferences (the type of house you are applying for), etc.
- Show a reliable income
Available Home Options Under NSHP Are:
- 2-Rooms (1 Bedroom House) for ₦2,000,000
- 3-Rooms (2 Bedroom House) for ₦2,750,000
- 4-Rooms (3 Bedroom House) for ₦3,500,000
