MTN Nigeria Scholarship Form, How to Apply, Requirements, Benefits, and Eligibility

MTN Nigeria Scholarship Form. As a component of our Youth Development Cause, MTN Scholarships offers an annual platform for honoring and honouring committed, excelling students from all Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions. To meet the various requirements of our extraordinary scholars, we have created three categories of scholarships:

1.) MTN Science and technology Schoolaship (MTN STS)

MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) is open to 300 level students studying Science & Technology related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

The application is open to students who have completed their second semester 200 level examinations going to 300 level and students currently in their 300 level as we understand that the academic calendar in not aligned across all public tertiary institutions.

STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)

STEM Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.

Direct Entry level STEM students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program and must have secured admission into 300 level/3rd year in a Public University.

 

2.) MTN Schoolaship For Blind Students (MTN SBS)

MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to 200 & 300 level Blind students studying any course in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

The application is open to 200 & 300 level blind students in any Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). However, for blind students studying Law, which is a 5 years course, only 300 level students can apply for the MTN Scholarship.

Blind Students in the Universities or Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5

Blind Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.

3.) Top 10 UTME Schoolaship

 

Note: The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to Nigerian students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institution (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). 300 successful students are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation, provided they maintain the required grades.
