Scholarship Overview:

International students are automatically considered for academic scholarships once they’re admitted to the University of Lynchburg. No separate scholarship application is required. A student may be eligible for the following scholarships if they are not a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen.

Scholarship letters indicate academic standards required for renewal. In addition to the first year, scholarships are renewable for each year the student attends the University of Lynchburg, if renewal eligibility is maintained. Students may receive only one scholarship award. Students also must reside on campus and be enrolled full-time to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility:

First-Year International Students

Test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT/ACT) and/or proof of English language proficiency are not considered in the calculation for scholarships, but they may still be required in the admissions process.

Transfer International Students

This scholarship is awarded to transfer students that have at least 12 transfer credits. Credits earned at institutions outside of the U.S. must be evaluated externally by an approved evaluation service. Proof of English language proficiency may still be required for the admissions process. Students receiving the Global Presidential Scholarship are not eligible for other transfer scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits:

Successful candidate for the University of Lynchburg International Scholarships will be awarded with $27,000.
