Background/IRC Summary: The IRC has been present in Nigeria since 2012 when the organization responded to flooding in Kogi state. In February 2014, the IRC moved into Adamawa State in NE Nigeria to provide humanitarian interventions through a multi-sectoral, integrated approach for conflict affected populations. IRC Nigeria now operates a country office in Abuja and field offices in Mubi and Yola of Adamawa State, Maiduguri, Monguno, Gwoza and Bama of Borno State and Damaturu of Yobe State. Currently, IRC Nigeria implements programs primary health care, nutrition, environmental health, women’s protection and empowerment, protection, child protection, education, food security & livelihoods.

Job Requirements:

• University Studies/ Higher Education in Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related course.
• 1 years of experience in similar position.
• Previous NGO experience will be an added advantage.
• Logistics Certification will be desirable.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong written and oral English communications skills
• Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to present information effectively; experience providing training and staff development a plus.
• Strong skills in collaboration with multi-cultural and diverse teams
• Commitment to consistently improving and developing innovative solutions in response to challenges.
