BARRISTER MRS. CHIOMA UZODIMMA THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF WOMEN AFFAIRS AND VULNERABLE GROUPS MADE THIS ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY 10th NOVEMBER 2020 AT THE flagging-off activities marking this year’s celebration of the Day of the Girl Child AT Ahiajoku Convention Center, New Owerri.
“We will be having Sensitization Sessions on Covid-19, Etiquette and Digitalizing Businesses, including Empowerment Workshops, where our girls will be equipped with the knowledge-base on the Production of Skincare Products and Soap-making”. The idea is for them to be self-reliant in knowledge and skills, which of course, is the way to go in the face of surging unemployment rates and drowning global economy.

Subsequently, (on announced dates) we shall be distributing sanitary items such as pads, menstrual handbooks, face masks and hand sanitizers; to women and girls across the 27 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Imo State.
