The GITEX 2022 North Star Pitch Competition Terms & Conditions
- The competition is open to startups only.
- The deadline to submit the application to enter the pitch competition is Wednesday, 27 April 2022.
- The shortlisted startups will be selected and announced on Monday, 2 May 2022.
- The shortlisted startups must pitch in-person either in Abuja on 11 May 2022 or in Lagos on 12 May 2022.
- Two winning startups in Abuja and two winning startups in Lagos will be selected by the judges on 11 May in Abuja and 12 May in Lagos.
- The selection of the winning startups is final and cannot be appealed.
- Each winning startup will be entitled to the following:
- Return flights for 1 person from their country of residence to Dubai.
- Accommodation for 1 person for a maximum of 5 nights between 9 – 14 October 2022.
- The flights and accommodation will be selected and booked by North Star.
- A 2sqm fully built and branded pod to exhibit at North Star Dubai from 10 – 13 October 2022.
- A guaranteed pitch slot in the Supernova Challenge 2022 pitch competition at North Star.
- The winning startups must be present at their pod at North Star in Dubai during all event days (10 – 13 October 2022).
- North Star is not responsible for visa processing, PCR tests, nor any related costs.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
