Overview

Evolving Generation Foundation “Evolving Gen” is an NGO incorporated under the Virginia State Corporation Commission with a mission to protect the planet, we’re on the front line in the fight against pollution, deforestation and food waste.

With a combined experience of 45 years, Evolving Gen was birthed to combat the worrisome climate change through sustainable projects like Green Africa Campaign. Since obtaining our Virginia nonprofit license in 2022, we’ve been awarded over $10M in funding by entities who believe we can impact real-world change.

Evolvinggen Foundation a non governmental organisation is recruiting staff and paid volunteers to execute its ” Green Africa Campaign ” in
Nigeria for the following positions:

1.Field officers
2.Tech Specialist
3.Administrative Officers
4.Customer Service Reps

Salary; Ranges from $700 to $1,200 monthly,accomodation and other allowances depend on job position and location.

1.) Field Officer

Responsible for the facilitation of project activities, community engagement, green campaign training, materials development, awareness components of the project, and maintaining effective communication between members of the project team.

Responsibilities

Mobilize the community towards project activities.
Create awareness creation on project goals, objectives and expected outputs.
Facilitate development of community structures for managing the implementation of project activities.
Provide continuous re-orientation and training to individuals on topical areas relevant to keeping the world green.
Monitoring of project activities and reporting.
Facilitate joint planning and review meetings with the participating individuals.
Maintain appropriate data on project implementation as per the project monitoring and evaluation plan.
Compile and submit monthly activity reports and any other reports as may be required by the supervisor.
Undertake proper maintenance and use assigned resources.

Requirements

Understanding the negative effects of climate change and its impact on our everyday lives.
Willingness to travel to another country on a week’s notice.
The ability to thrive independently, think innovatively and strategically and work effectively within a team.
Ability to communicate in English language and work with interpreters.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines with minimal supervision.
