The Edo State Government, led by Governor Obaseki, implemented the Edo Basic Education Sector Transformation (EdoBEST) programme to improve basic education across the state. Through EdoBEST, the government is transforming learning outcomes for the 300,000 children across 1,029 public primary and 471 junior secondary schools in Edo State. EdoBEST is a Government designed and lead programme that is re-training all 15,000 government teachers – novice and experienced – to be technologically supported and empowered teachers.

Regional Manager, Schools Management

What You Should Have
- High level of energy and enthusiasm so as to be effective in a fast paced environment with multiple demands.
- This role would suit someone who has extensive experience doing community based work, field management expertise and strong people management and program management skills.
- An Education Degree is a must, with at least 5 years of professional work experience.
- Prior team leadership experience using a hands-on role model approach to management and the ability to coach and motivate others to achieve results.
- Proven ability to drive results.
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Excellent practical problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

- Minimum of first degree in Communications or related field.
- 3 years experience in a core communications role (in house or agency)
