  • Working knowledge of  traffic rules and regulations, and ability to read and interpret traffic signs and  documents such as safety rules, and operating and maintenance instructions;
  • Maintain a log book;

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Social Sciences or Humanities from a recognized University.
  • 2 years relevant work experience in human resources, administration or related area, is required;
  • Basic technical knowledge of human resources management including professional work experience in human resources at entry level operations;
  • Basic knowledge of office routines and practices relating to document management, records management and / or office management of relevance to the human resources management functional areas;
  • Knowledge of routine human resources business processes involving repetitive tasks supported by clear instructions and regular coaching e.g. data entry, data verification, classification of information of relevance to the human resources management functional areas.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration or a related field from a recognized University;
  • 2 years of progressively responsible professional working experience in political science, political affairs, international relations, law, mediation, conflict resolution, or related area is required;
  • Knowledge and understanding of ECOWAS agency or institutional mandate, international non-proliferation theories, concepts and developments and ECOWAS strategies, including cooperation with Member-States and international organizations;
  • Knowledge and understanding of ECOWAS agency / institution’s relations with national and regional agencies, International organizations and other international and diplomatic institutions;
  • Ability to liaise between ECOWAS members and Staff with the government of the country of residence, in focus areas;
  • Classification of information of relevance to the human resources management functional areas.

  • familiarity with administrative and financial policies and procedures with a basic practical understanding of broad theories, concepts and approaches;
  • ability to provide support services in collecting and analyzing data for anomalies, trends, errors, and answers using various methods and techniques.
