2023 AWE Application Form Portal. The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Nigeria is receiving applications for AWE Cohort 5. Participants in AWE acquire fundamental business skills before meeting electronically as a class to discuss the subject with seasoned implementers, local mentors, and U.S. Exchange Alumni.

OVERVIEW

An American government program called the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) equips women with the knowledge, tools, and networks necessary to launch and grow profitable businesses. The scope of AWE include Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and other regions where advancing women’s economic empowerment is a top priority for U.S. policy.

AWE employs a hybrid strategy that combines in-person coaching and facilitation with the online tool “DreamBuilder” (created by a collaboration between the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University and the world’s largest copper mining firm FreeportMcMoRan).

 

AWE APPLICATION FORM REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of six hours per week of self-study and online-facilitated seminars are required for the program. Although most of the program will be conducted online, applicants will have the chance to take part in one in-person networking event.
