Apply Project GEST 2022 – The Delta State Girl Child Empowerment office seeks to train young females within the age of 18 – 30 in highly sought-after skills. Girls above 30 years of age and those who have previously been trained and empowered by the State Government through other entrepreneurship programmes are not eligible to apply.

Overview

Applications are open to girls between the ages of 18 and 30 years. Participants will be selected on the basis of their previous experience in their preferred skill area, and the perceived benefit of the training on their livelihood. Girls above 30 years of age and those who have previously been trained and empowered by the State Government through other entrepreneurship programmes are not eligible to apply.

The skills to be provided in the training include:

A. Photography

B. Barbing

C. Baking & Confectionaries

D. Leather works

E. Professional Cleaning Services

F. Disk Jockey

G. Fashion Design

H. Hairdressing

I. Make-up

Application Process

Applicants should ensure that the form is completed clearly and legibly and that copies of educational certificates, evidence of Local Government Area (LGA) of origin and passport photograph are provided. Please note that all information provided in this form will be verified. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
